Forcum Lannom Contractors prides itself on serving the communities in which we live and work, and we encourage our employees to participate in service initiatives they are passionate about.
With the activities, we grow strong as individuals and as a team, making a difference in our communities.
We proudly congratulate our very own Katie James for graduating from the Dyer County Adult Leadership Class! The program helps participants develop the skills and knowledge needed to become influential leaders who can contribute to the growth and development of their community.
Katie started with us in 2015 and currently serves as our Accounting Clerk and is a Yorkville Bethel Baptist Church member. Katie has called Dyer County home since she was born and is a proud member of the Roellen community. She is a proud “fur-mom” to Rolo James and an outstanding wife to Justin James. Her hobbies include yard work, participating in church events, singing, spending time with family and friends, and watching Alabama football (Roll Tide! 🐘)
Katie started the program to help pursue her personal and professional goals of getting out of her comfort zone, improving her leadership skills, meeting new people, and learning more about this place called home.
A word from our newest graduate, Katie James: “First off, I would like to thank Forum Lannom Contractors for giving me this opportunity to be a part of the Dyer County Adult Leadership. This experience was nothing but a blessing! I have lived in Dyer County my whole life, and the things I learned during this experience were wonderful. This is just the beginning of me wanting to be more involved in our community and learning more about it.”
This program immerses its participants in many activities, such as “Ag Day” and “Law Enforcement Day,” some of Katie’s favorites, to help give them better insight into the different organizations that make up our wonderful community. The Dyer County Adult Leadership program classes also take a trip to Nashville to visit the TBI and State Capital. After completing the experiences of participating in Dyer County Adult Leadership, members are celebrated with a graduation ceremony and leave with lasting friendships and a deeper understanding and appreciation for our community and its driving forces.
We are incredibly proud of Katie James and her dedication to the community and herself.
