Forcum Lannom Contractors utilizes the experience and expertise of our in-house engineering and estimating teams to develop cost-efficient, quality facilities to meet the needs of our clients.
COMMUNICATION
From the earliest point in the project, communication is a key component. Beginning with initial design charettes, through design revisions, value engineering and estimating, Forcum Lannom Contractors will communicate with the client on a regular and coordinated basis. We utilize the latest industry standards in construction management, scheduling, and cost accounting technology to manage the flow of information and provide full transparency to the project team.
PRELIMINARY ESTIMATING
With the schematic design documents, our Estimating team can develop a project specific Summary of Work and, if needed, bid packages for each discipline of work, and solicit competitive bids for all facets of the project. In addition, our in-house estimators perform material quantity take-offs and generate cost estimates for the work to ensure bids received are reasonable and complete.
GUARANTEED MAXIMUM PRICE
After competitive bids are secured, analyzed, and recapped, the entirety of the project is developed and presented as a GMP in a 16-Division breakdown format. This format allows the client to analyze line-item costs against defined and quantified criteria. Our design and project management team will work with the client so that all scope items are clearly understood. If budget dictates, the design, estimating and project management team will work with the client to identify areas where cost reductions may be available.
