Construction is underway at the GATX Service Center in Hearne, Texas.
The project includes demolishing the existing cleaning system and constructing a new system with a railcar cleaning process designed to be safer and more cost-effective.
Forcum Lannom Contractors has completed multiple additions and renovations for GATX Corporation in Hearne, Texas, and Waycross, Georgia. These projects have included warehouse additions, breakroom and dressing room upgrades, and a new blast building. The blast equipment included robotic and manual blasting stations with compressed air upgrades to their existing repair shop.
GATX is a leading global provider of railcar leasing and services to customers throughout North America, Europe, and India. The services provided at the Hearne, Texas Facility include cleaning, mechanical repair, regulatory compliance, blast, lining, and painting for most tank and freight cars.
