Forcum Lannom Contractors Completes Construction on Wayne Farms New Customer Innovation Center. 
On February 28, 2018, Wayne Farms hosted a Grand Opening of their new Customer Innovation Center located in Decatur, Alabama.
The new Customer Innovation center brings culinary concepts and manufacturing together, combining pilot plant capabilities with research and development in an advanced culinary kitchen. The Customer Innovation Center will employ customer and consumer insights, food trends, nutrition and science to develop, test and perfect products in a technology-rich creative environment. The 15,000 sq ft facility includes an open workspace area, modern culinary kitchen with viewing windows, and a conference center with the latest technology to support virtual meetings for customers anywhere around the world.
The Customer Innovation Center is located on the Wayne Farms campus in Decatur with two state-of-the-industry production plants equipped to take new products from concept to center-of-plate entrees without leaving the complex. Products developed in the Customer Innovation Center are ready to go into full production and out to the marketplace.
