Project Description
Forcum Lannom Contractors served as the Design-Builder for Koyo Bearings' new facility in Washington County, Tennessee. Koyo Corporation of USA is part of JTEKT North America and is one of the world's leaders in bearing production for the automotive industry.
The original plant stood at 80,000 square feet with one furnace and one line. Forcum Lannom Contractors has completed several additions and renovations for Koyo, bringing the current facility to 161,000 square feet, with four furnaces and 14 lines for the inner ring and 13 lines for the outer ring. This growth has produced approximately 170 jobs for Washington County and the surrounding communities.
